On Tuesday June 25th, the Emerging Media Lab hosted a Design Review to show Faculty and staff all the great projects this term.
The event began with each of the project teams delivering presentations, discussing the design decisions and development features that form the basis of their projects, and displaying videos that demonstrated how these features impacted the user experience. The attendees were then given the opportunity to discuss the project with the teams and the project’s Primary Investigator, offering the team feedback, asking clarifying questions, and suggesting alternatives or new features that could augment or improve the already exceptional projects.
After the presentations, attendees were given the opportunity to try the projects, and deliver individualized feedback based on their experiences. The teams for OCELIA, Head Spin, and Procedural Poetry Playhouse did amazing, and the demos they were able to create were enjoyed by all the attendees.
The amount of work our teams have been able to create in two months is truly impressive, and we at EML are so proud of their hard work!
