On Wednesday, April 10th, the UBC Emerging Media Lab hosted their annual Spring Showcase! This showcase, which focused on how emerging technologies influence pedagogy and the classroom, featured a panel discussion where our faculty members shared the inspired “why” behind projects for integrating emerging technologies into teaching, learning and research.
Our student teams then presented their projects, discussing their successes, hurdles, the reasoning behind the projects, and how they collaborated with their team to bring their projects to life. Attendees received the opportunity to then directly engage with our talented team members through live demonstrations, showing how their innovative thinking and hard work is changing the teaching and learning experience for both teachers and students.
Curious about the showcase? Well, you can watch the whole thing here. Make sure to keep an eye out for our Summer Showcase, and come and see the amazing work of our students.
