Rose Garden XR Viewfinder

Background
This project proposes the installation of a low-profile viewfinder at the end of Main Mall, which can be temporarily placed in front of the Rose Garden. The viewfinder will provide a pass-thru VR experience, allowing users to see the real world while showcasing virtual content about nature. We aim to highlight the beauty and importance of the UBC Rose Garden with non-traditional methods, incorporating creative additions made possible through AR.
Objective
The viewfinder will provide a pass-thru VR experience, allowing users to see the real world while showcasing virtual content about nature. The goal is to create an immersive and engaging experience for visitors, highlighting the importance of nature and its impact on our lives.
