EMLx is a student-led group within EML that aims to explore and experiment with different technologies. Any student who is interested in emerging technologies and looking for a space to be creative with emerging hardware and software is welcome!
Have a project idea?
If you have a project idea but don’t know how to get started, bring your idea by EMLx and we’ll try to help. If you’d like, we can work with you to figure out what’s feasible and where you should focus first.

Time Commitment
Meetings are determined every term, depending on students’ availability. There is no deadline, you can design your own project timeline and milestones!
How do I join?
There are 2 ways to join EMLx, by starting a project or joining a proposed project. If you’re not picky about a project idea, we act as a connector with other EMLx members who you might be interested in working with and you can opt into a project underway.
