Empowering Creative Expression: A Comprehensive Exploration of Capture Technologies Through Specific Use Cases

Background

Team PixWiz aims to develop outcomes that explore the intersection of game engines, capture technologies, and artificial intelligence to create immersive content experiences for viewers. We hope to push industry boundaries and explore limits of AI by also immersing viewers in an emotional story. Through this project, we will stage and experiment with rapid prototyping projects that come out of various technologies. In this process, we will also develop a realistic filmmaking workflow and answer: does AI take control or is there a way for humans and AI to be collaborative to create something innovative? This way, we aim to put the bulk of work on pre-production design, and help our user demographics create lots of bits in a short amount of time. Placing an emphasis on the ethics of AI, we also seek to implement responsible practices when using AI tools to enhance the creative process for all potential users.

Objective

The objectives of the project are to develop a creative workflow where the work of creators and AI intersect to maximize collaboration, make the creative workflow more accessible to content creators with limited resources, produce and iterate on multiple prototypes that experiment with different AI software and capture technologies, and explore and practice responsible use of AI.
