EML Winter Design Review

On Monday, December 9th, EML hosted their Winter Design Review. Faculty in Residence, Principle Investigators, Staff Liasons, and other members of the EML community first heard from project teams, watching a series of informative presentations on the lab’s current projects and the progress the team has made. After each presentation, the students received feedback that will be implemented in the later term to ensure the projects are as high-quality as possible. Finally, after the presentations, attendees got the chance to try the current project prototypes, experiencing our AR and VR programs and giving individualized feedback based on their own experiences.

Thank you to everyone who attended this event for your insightful feedback and productive discussions. We hope you enjoyed the event!

You can find out more about the presented projects at the project pages listed below:

AR-A-SOP: An Augmented Reality tool that aims to improve safety procedures for students working with Wood Processing tools.

EARSIM: A Virtual Reality (VR) tool that helps hard of hearing people improve their sound localization ability, thereby improving overall quality of life.
