Join the UBC Emerging Media Lab at the end-of-term summer showcase on Thursday, September 15th at 2:00 pm to see and try out the projects we’ve been working on all summer long! At this hybrid event, you will be able to:

• Hear from faculty members about the inspiration behind their ideas to use emerging technologies in the classroom
• See the successes and obstacles that EML teams faced in bringing their projects to life
• Engage in Q&A with the team members about their process
• Participate in live demos of the projects using emerging technologies such as virtual reality

This event will be hybrid: the first hour (presentations + Q&A) is available to both in-person and online attendees, but demos will be reserved to in-person attendees only. The Zoom link and event location will be sent out via Eventbrite prior to the event.
