Join the UBC Emerging Media Lab at the end-of-term summer showcase On Thursday, September 15th at 2:00 pm we had our end-of-term summer showcase. Participants got to see and try out the projects we’ve been working on all summer long! This hybrid event featured:

Faculty members discussing the inspiration behind their ideas to use emerging technologies in the classroom
Seeing the successes and obstacles that EML teams faced in bringing their projects to life
Engaging in Q&A with the team members about their process
Participating in live demos of the projects using emerging technologies such as virtual reality
