3D Modelling in Maya

Monday, November 25  | 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
4074 Orchard Commons | 6363 Agronomy Road

What you’ll learn

In this two-hour free workshop, Sarah will give an introduction to Maya, a 3D computer animation, modelling, simulation, and rendering software. Then, walk participants through step-by-step tutorials to create something of their own in the program.

In the past, participants have learned to create and apply texture to a 3D modeled chair.

This is an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to develop basic skills in 3D modelling and to ask an industry expert for guidance + advice.

Please bring a laptop + mouse and download the latest version of Unity and Maya 2018 on your PC to follow along in the workshop.
