On April 9th, EML will host our 2025 Spring Showcase. It offers EML teams the opportunity to present their work to UBC Community and beyond through a presentation and live prototype demonstrations, distinguishing EML as a meeting place for project teams, stakeholders, special guests, and the wider community.
Past Workshops and Lectures
This EMCoP session examined the intersection between intellectual property (IP) law and artificial intelligence. The presentation explored legal and technical perspectives on critical issues such as the ownership and authorship of AI-generated content, challenges in AI-driven innovations, and broader implications for creators, industries, and regulatory frameworks.
