Join us on September 12 to celebrate our EML students and UBC faculty as they “push the boundaries of creativity and reshape the digital landscape” (according to ChatGPT).
The Chat GPT and AI-themed showcase starts off with a discussion led by EML Faculties in Residence Dr. Patrick Pennefather and Jon Festinger, along with a surprise special guest. Then EML projects will be showcased, where faculty members will speak on the inspiration behind bringing emerging technologies into the classroom, and students will present their successes and obstacles in bringing these projects to life. Finally, attendees can meet the teams and participate in live demos of the projects.
Food and drinks will be served during the event to celebrate the winning of the 2023 CUCCIO Collaboration award. We look forward to welcoming you!
Note: This year, our showcase will not be livestreamed – we hope to see everyone there!
